Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 and 2022. A member of the Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011), the spokesperson of the Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a political contributor for CNN from 2017 to 2020. Her career in politics began in 2001 when she worked on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed as the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki also served as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] There was speculation Psaki would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She remained with the Obama administration until the end of its term.
